What a dumb bitch.

To what class war rhetoric are you referring? Advocating for taxes to rational, recent historical levels which happen to coincide with the last time this country ran a surplus? And you think he wants to "create a world currency"? I'm not even sure what that means, but it sounds like you're a conspiracy nut, and in that case, my work is done here.

@flatlander1007 The war expense is 5% of our annual budget. If you took all of the wealth in this country, it still would not cover what we spend without the military budget(the other 95%) every year. Wake up! Obama is not telling the whole truth. He starts class warfare rhetoric because he knows you will believe everything he says. Do your own analysis. He is lying to you. He is trying to spend the dollar out of existence so he can create a world currency. NOT GOOD!

@bennmurray25 A bet on what, that Ellmers is out of her depth? That the US under Bush/Cheney cut taxes while simultaneously launching two wars? That our current path is unsustainable?
-
@flatlander1007 I want you to give me some sort of evidence for that statement. Let's make a bet.

Wow, Geitner ran circles around her. She made all his arguments for him. All she said was, "you are wrong." Brilliant orator.
Speaking as an NC small business owner, Geithner is right. Without the collective will to slash military spending, Medicare and Social Security, we need to raise revenue to keep our country solvent. What "excessive burden" is Ellmers talking about? Our taxes are at historically low rates. She's out of her depth. Two expensive wars combined with an ill-timed high-income tax cut erased the surpluses of the '90s and pushed us in our current unsustainable path.

how in the hell does Geithner think that by cutting government, that it would put a strain on the economy? The only thing putting a strain on our economy is the government!
