  • Una aclaración:

    En castellano la letra C representa al fonema /θ/ delante de las letras (e, i), y se pronuncia como la Z.

    De hecho, la Z delante de estas vocales sólo existe en palabras de origen no español.

    Pronunciar la C como S delante de (e, i) es de propio del español latinoamericano.

    La LL y la RR, al igual que la CH, es un error que no se corrigió en su momento, ya que estos sonidos deberían tener su propia grafía, como lo tiene la Ñ y la W.

  • @stevie985 The castillians officially removed the "LL" and "RR". They did this claiming that the majority of the words that start with those letters are of Aztec and Native American origin. Therefore not real "Spanish" words. So this was technically correct. Although some Spanish classes in the U.S. still teach the "LL" and the "RR".
