From Sendai and Hokkaido,
The North Japan Honor Green Band marching down Colorado Blvd. in the 122nd Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on Saturday, January 1st 2011. This is the band's 1st appearance down Colorado Blvd. The band, part of a larger Green Band Association, is a charity band formed 10 years ago and headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, the center of Japanese culture and former capitol of japan.
The 180-member band was created specifically for this march at the Tournament of Roses and consists mostly of high school and college students from Hokkaido, Japan.
