My 2005 SSLA30 blues master semi-hollow electric guitar. Beautiful guitar and sounds great. Nice action, decent humbuckers. Thin profile. The vid doesn't show how truly nice this guitar is. Transparent red with wood grain showing through. These are now being sold on Amazon for a pretty Amazing price, though the knobs are different. It's getting good reviews all around.

  • I have this music somewhere in my jazz collection, but can't place it offhand .... what are we listening to?

  • @vampyros1 The song is New Stories by Highway Blues.

  • Does anyone know what country they are made in? and can we get a demo video to see how it sounds please?

  • @boyd5647 : There is a link in my description which leads to a video of someone playing this type of guitar. The older models of this guitar were made in the USA but now I believe Silvertone by Samick (Samick Music Corp.) are made in Korea or Indonesia. Mine is a 2005 model and made in the USA.

  • just got this guitar sounds great and great price on amazon!

  • @lespaulgirl22 - yeah i see they're for sale on amazon and you're right, a great price too for this quality of guitar. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

  • @cqbkajukenbo Just by what I measured, its about 1.7"The neck feels really solid to me (it's a bolt on Mahogany) and the sustain is pretty good. The best way to describe the sound is deep, mellow and soulful. I know I'm sounding like a commercial, but this guitar (at least for me and I don't claim to be an expert) is the bomb for the money. I'm sure for a more experienced guitar player, changes will be made and customized, but still you won't be disappointed.

  • What is the nut width on these models?

    How does the neck feel?

  • cool thanks!!

  • @gooseman613 : i'll have to unpack my cord and amp as we just moved recently. The sound is really pretty nice. It doesn't sound at all like a cheap guitar and it's very bluesy.
