@200twistatwista its y i quit using it, i installed the new version and it asked for my username and password, i would never log in to anything that has to do with potential copyrighted material, nothing worse than having your ip address logged to a username when downloading music, the old bearshare wont connect anymore, it asks to be updated.

@100038799 the last time i tried it , it asked for a user account, thats more than enough personal info, logging downloads to user account which also logs IP addresses used, so they have proof of what and when you downloaded.

haha ya cept peerblock got too creative when blocking to the point it didn't download so pg will keep doin its job till something better comes along, does the new bearshare still have whenusave spyware?

hmm i used to love bearshare until they started asking for email addresses, if they ever get closed down and forced to turn in emails i dont want mine on it, peer guardian and utorrent for me now :(

I still use bearshare : P Utorrent and Peerblock not peerguardian use " Peerblock " Its a peergaurdian re writen and no errors on peerblock and its not abandoned software like Perrguardian : P
