The Fresh Hills of Mhic Cainte - on Concertina and Guitar

This is what I think to be a waltz played by dad and me. Odd thing is I heard this tune many many years ago before I even started getting interested in Irish music on that old TV show "Avonlea" (my mom was a big fan...not enough explosions or alien invasions for me...but I digress). Anyway, this tune was the theme for the resedent seafearing dude on the show, Gus Pike. I've always really liked the tune, and discoved recently that it is in fact a really old Irish tune.
Sorry also for the fact that I look like I am about to fall asleep through the song....I had to get up early for work this morning and I think it shows a bit. :-)

AHHH!!! My mom and I always watched Avonlea back in the day! I've loved this song practically my whole life of almost nineteen years, so I am ecstatic!!! I made up my own arrangement of this by ear on the piano from watching the show, but I never knew that it was an actual song (besides it being for the show)!!!! This was a beautiful rendition!
