  • 40k ¥ is around $400, which is amazing, considering this whoops the ass outta the ipad =]

  • @4N0NYM0U557 Actually netbooks / laptops that go for 40k here sell for under $300 in the States, so it's even cheaper than that! I am expected a price of just under 50k yen though.

  • Is that only in Japan? Is it in America?

  • @imroy264 thanks.. but in the end i decided to buy an archos101 internet tablet.. same price but better.. i mean anroid is better with touch.. :)

  • @WeijingJayLin Oh I hope so.

    ARM/Linux is finally killing Intel/Windows! :)

  • @edrianquintos I read in another review that it's possible to run Ubuntu (netbook edition?) on this device. That would allow you to run some more decent office type applications - if not OpenOffice/LibreOffice, then some more lighter-weight programs.

It should have no problem playing playing videos, although Flash is always a big problem.

  • Windows is over?!

  • @times9 you live under a bridge right?

  • can someone tell me if this is a good netbook? im a stundet so i have some questions

    how about office? powerpoint? word?

    pdf?

    how about playing video?

    how about downloading stuffs??

ocz i have an android phone. it has documetns to go but its not really good for writting word coz the format is different. and it wont let me download some stuffs.. so this bothers me.. i really like it's design so slim adn light.

  • @netbooked Where i live it's 489 $

  • @4N0NYM0U557 how can a netbook kick the ass of a tablet? it's like comparing motorbikes and cars. i have the ipad and i'm considering getting a very light net/notebook but it won't be able to replace the ipad. the ipad can be replaced by a tablet like the notion adam.
