Thomas Hardy's The Return of the Native 6/7

Based onThomas Hardy's novel of the same name, this Hallmark film is about Eustacia Vye, an ambitious beauty and the two men who would sacrifice anything for her. When the well to do Clym Yeobright returns home, Eustacia sends her suitor back to his fiancee. However, Clym decides he will stay in the country, leading to a crossroads of temptation and tragedy.

@admetric she did get a snake bite in the book but the doctor also said it was more the walk as well since they supposedly "healed " the bite with the ancient remedy

What did she die of? Heart attack? In the book, she was supposed to be bitten by an adder.

the sound track in this starting portion of this section sounds so much like that of Franco Zeffirelli's ' Jesus of Nazareth '...
