I´m a member of this Tuna, called HINOPORTUNA, from Viana do Castelo. The cover of "Cantiga de Maio" (Zeca Afonso) is inspired in a brasilian song, "Manhã de Carnaval", from Luiz Bonfá and António Maria. Who is singing is a member of our Tuna: Nelson "Charam" Almeida

This is not the first time I comment on this video, but listening to it (over and over again), and comparing it with the original of the Great and Only Zeca Afonso, I just want to express once more my admiration and appreciation for this version of this brilliant song.

im afraid you are right, its not vitorino. Altough i must admit that i dont know who is... but if you like portuguese music, try to listen some popular songs from the azores, i think you might enjoy ;)

with all due respect, i think not. i 've heard some of vitorino's records, and i don't recognize his voice here. but of course, as a dutchman living in Holland, i am not an expert on portuguese music (though i am fond of it!)
