Cabzilla, I will agree with your rephrased point completely -- to the shame of a section of the population of my sex. *smiles* I have no idea why there are people (in general!) out there who think Nick Sparks or Stephenie Meyer are good writers and I have no clue why the film adaptatioins make a sous either. *shakes head* Not all of us are like them though -- there are some awesome girls out there who love great movies/books/TV, spit on Edward Cullen and can't wait for May 4 to get here! ;)

I apologize, I did not mean to offend you or the female demographic. All I was trying to say was that the reason why the Twilight franchise and movies like "The Lucky One" are financially successful is because they are made to appeal to women and they certainly do a successful job in doing that. I think it is awesome and refreshing when I meet someone of the female demographic that can not stand Twilight or Nicholas Sparks movies. I was not insulting you or others like you in any way.
