Big Ted, may look like a Teddy bear from the fair, but dont let his cuddly exterior and dumb sounding voice fool you, as this professional, is about as hardnosed as they come. If there is one bear who knows how to throw his weight around, Big Ted is it, this geezer doesnt take no for an answer.

Born on a fairground, he soon realised that he had a talent for negotiating with his fists. After a few scraps here and there with his Dad, he moved out of the fairground and onto the boxing circuit and at one point rose to some small time notoriety, famed by the local rags as delighting fans with his formidable right hook.

These days, he works for Mr. Sleep, but not much has changed, youll find him using his heavy handed talents more than his brains to ensure that the Travelodge guests get a good nights sleep. Big Ted may have had one too many knocks on the head, hence his dopey demeanour, but here is a loveable character that could keep you entertained with many a tall stories from his past.

For this bear, his greatest loss was his greatest victory. In the early days, he got into some trouble with some local gangsters and was paid to go down in the fourth, but couldnt ever swallow his pride; he took his anger out on his opponent and made sure that he never walked again. This inevitably put him in a sticky situation to say the least and just when he thought he had nowhere to go, Mr. Sleep picked him, took him under his wing, and offered him protection, a little love and affection. These days, hes a big name in the sleep game and is often noted as Mr. Sleeps right hand man on the Travelodge gig as they spend every minute helping people get a better nights sleep.
