Monster Hunter Freedom - Raid the Wyvern's Nest

Word's cannot describe the trouble these delivery quests give other players, well.. what can I say, this quest is based more on luck then it is skill.

When the quest starts be sure to grab your supplies, don't go wasting the Flash Bomb, as you won't exactly need to.

Take 2x Rations and head out to area 4, you are met with a cutscene of one of the more popular monsters in the series, a Rathalos. Now at your current level, taking on Rathalos won't exactly be so fun/easy. And you don't really want to provoke him, because if you do & decide to leave the area, next time he encounters you, he won't ignore you, he'll begin to attack.

So after the cutscene finishes in area 4, run straight for the bushes, duck down & hide, as long as you stay in there & don't move around too much or try to attack him, he shouldn't notice you. When he begins to fly up the second time after sniffing around the bush you're currently hiding in, run as fast as you can to area 5. He shouldn't notice you really, and he shouldn't start roaring, if you took your sweet time and hear him roar, that means the next time he encounters you he will start attacking. So be quick entering that cave.

When you enter area 5, you are met with another cutscene, showing you where to gather the eggs. Quickly clear the prey that are roaming the area & gather an egg.

This is where it gets difficult, running back to camp with the egg.

Your first enemy would be this Vespoid, the second you go back to area 4 it will attempt to attack you & break the egg, dodge him & make sure to land on the bottom left ledge, if you're carrying a heavy object such as an egg/stone & you fall from a great height, the egg/stone will break. So be careful where you land.

Area 3, you shouldn't have any problems here, unless Rathalos decides to drop by, so quickly make your way to area 2, but don't go entering the area with low stamina, you'll need all the stamina you can get.

Area 2, the most difficult area out of this quest, there is 4 Velociprey & one Vespoid inside this area, not exactly fair for you right? Well, if the egg is broken, begin clearing the Velociprey in area 2, they won't respawn, so you're pretty much safe all the home if you drop the egg & decide to clear. (thanks to gamerfreak48 for correction) This quest may take a little patience (with Rathalos flying around), so don't get too frustrated if you don't leave the area with a egg in your hands.

If you made it to area 1, you are officially "home free", nothing will get in your way now. So scurry along to camp & deliver the egg, and don't forget viewers, to deliver the egg you press CIRCLE, NOT X, CIRCLE. You don't know how many times I've made that mistake while playing this game.. damn Japanese MH games.

when i tried killin the prey before i got the egg, they didn't respawn when i left the area to area 3 and back to area 2 they didn't come back.

just a tip : If you cant bear the stress going through area 2 with all those velociprey. I suggest going through area 3,10, and take the shortcut from area 8 to the area 1.

lol i thought you were good at this game. i am newbie to mhf and evan i know that you run around the back of the dragon and not the front... trust me i have never faild with this method and he just flys away when you enter the cave

i started off by killing all the raptors first,then escorting the egg back,so the only thing you'd have to worry about is waiting for the dragon to leave and just staying away from the slow bee.
