This is my grandaughter and she was never forced to sit on Santa's lap. When her parents saw she was getting upset, they removed her from the situation. I live in a different country to my son, daughter-in-law and grandaughter and these videos are the only record I have of her growing up. Please, if you can't say something postive with regard to other people's videos, keep your opinions to yourself. This child is very much loved and her parents would never subject her to harm.

Sometimes I think parents are just not that bright. Afterall, a baby, or a very young child, is scared of anyone that doesn't appear normal (i.e. in a costume). Just for a picture with Santa does not warrant forcing a child to sit on his lap. Children can be traumatised by it. I do Santa Claus and truly understand the stupidity of some parents. I've encountered a scared child numerous time but they go readily to Mrs. Claus or my elf.

lol how cute my neice did that her second time and 1st
Sometimes I think people that comment on how other people raise their children and want to be critical of other people sharing their experience of doing so should keep their opinions to themselves. I am raising a bright and happy child my way no matter what you say, so Mr Ronclown why don't you just keep it buttoned, you were not asked. Unlike a lot of children today and most adults now I have made a pretty good video and picture history for my daughter to look back on one day.

one thing ive never understood is why does every parent follow the same path as the other parent. Don't make no sense. What has happened to individual thinking

What are you referring to? Parenting is a difficult enough path to walk, are you a parent yourself? Perhaps one day you will know that you only want the best for your child, which is what every other parent should also want so yeah you will follow what other parents do. I also like to think that now my daughter is 3.5 years old I encourage her free thinking and she sure is an individual.

I just have to add that while watching tv last night (Christmas day) a Santa was in the show we were watching and when Aaleyah saw him on the tv she freaked out again! She has a real fear of Santa!
