I like many types of music of all varieties, but for my monet Yes always kicked ass big time. Hands down they put on the best shows I've ever seen with the possible exception of Queen with Freddie. I love this cause Steve hits the dobro at the beginning too, something they seem to have stopped doing. Very cool !

I always liked the live version of "And You and I" better than the studio version. But if you want to see/hear the best version IMHO, look up the 2003 live version. Same guys, 30 years later.

Yes is one of the best bands ever IMHO, and this is the best line-up of members

40,000 views ... so many people are missing this unbelievable performance. it's perfect. it's an amazing piece of music. at one point i believe all 5 members of Yes were voted the best at their instrument/vocal by Musician Mag.

What an amazing band. My favorite band of all time.

Jon Anderson's voice always makes me mindful of the singing voices of Tolkien's Elves. From the book, not from the movies.

I wore this side of the Close to the Edge album out, twice, before the cd version was released. There was nothing that could calm and entrance a getting-a-bit-rowdy party crowd like any album by Yes.

It was one of my secrets to never having neighbors call the po-lice on any of my 70s era parties.
