Dazzle Instant DVD Recorder Commentary Test - Dark Sector - Part 1 of 2

Well, lo and behold, I got the fucker working with commentary! :^D

Noptic informed me of a much easier way to record and sync commentary with the gameplay. All I have to do is record the preview windows with FRAPS, and play like I normally would.

Unlike my previous combination of programs, which was Instant DVD Recorder and Goldwave (Goldwave is an audio recording program, kinda like Audacity) this allows me to sync both videos very easily instead of guessing where the commentary goes.

Sony Vegas makes this process shitloads easier with the ability to do picture-in-picture. I can put one video over to the corner, then sync them PERFECTLY, trim off the ends of the video and the rest is easy.

I initially tried recording with Goldwave and the game was Dead Rising. As for why I changed to Dark Sector, the answer is simple. I'm fucking amazed that I managed to find a copy of Dark Sector. :^P

I didn't intend for this to be a two-part video, so I thought it'd be a good idea to end this video when I remembered to turn Notifications off. It worked. :^P
