Beckham's last press conference at Real Madrid (subtitled)

David Beckham appeared today for the last time as a Madrid player. He's now haeding the US but at least we could understand his spanish after being in Spain for so long, or maybe not. Thank you David for everything, spanish football will miss you, even more as a person. Hope everything goes well next sunday and also while you play for Galaxy.

His spanish is actually not bad. Of course he would need to add to his vocabulary to carry on an extended conversation, but his pronunciation is good and he does a fine job stringing together proper sentences. Maybe he could get Landon to teach him a little more espanol?

Why do native English speakers never learn to speak another language correctly? It's pretty sad that he isn't able to speak one sentence without a mistake.

Same thing is when Hollywood actors come to other countries and say stuff like "Hola Madrid. Que tal?" And then everybody think "Oh amazing language skills". lol

Spanish/castellano is more difficult to learn than english. Spanish, has a more complicated grammar than english. Besides, in spanish you must know how words are accentuated and the use of accents.

On youtube, spanish people make many mistakes when writing in spanish. :(
