Someone Setup the Pumpkin Bomb Quest (WoW Cataclysm)

Video guide as to how one of our guildies did this World of Warcraft: Cataclysm quest (based on the popular Sunflowers vs Zombies popcap game). The quest can be found in Hillsbrad Foothill, south of Dalaran Crater in a farm called Brazie Farmstead.

The most effective way to do this hassle free is:

1)

S SF SF FR S S T R

S: Spitter
SF: Sunflower
FR Freezing Plant
T: Tentacles
R: Rock
PB: Pumpkin Bomb

x: empty space

Laying down sunflowers is a priority. By the time the first 3 ghouls appear have 4 SF and 1 S.

I strongly recommend laying a FR as the second strongest ghoul appears (instead of a R) as this will be used later on. They can take a few hits before any actual harm.

By the time the first wave hits you ought to aim for

S SF SF FR S
S SF SF FR S
S SF SF FR S
S SF SF FR S

Keep it that way till two large ghouls arrive. You will then have enough sun power for 1 PB.

From there build a barricade of R and use T on the rows that have no, or diminishing R.

After Wave 1. build back to 1) as much as you can. Choose R over S and you should have something messy like:

S SF SF FR S x x R

Maintain this and you'll have enough sun power for PB to kill surrounding ghouls.

By this point 2 massive 'Patchwerks' will appear. Frequently use R and over SP and if you have enough sun power one PB will help.

You'll find that if done as suggested, ghouls will have a hard time getting up to the second S and FP.

By this point your aim is to survive other than kill. The twin Patchwerks will hang around 1 minute or so then you've done the quest!

this quest is bullshit. Im giving up because even after the clever little guide here it still wont work. Giving up because i dont even want that bitch ass little plant if THIS is what it takes to get it. Fuck that thing its creepy anyways

Follow this exactly, and you will be able to finish the quest. I had failed 5 times on this one, and I finally finished it. I am so glad I looked up how to do this quest, rather than just giving up. And the little sunflower doesn't sing every 5 seconds, it's like every 30-45 sec.

@mynx530 I know! I was so pissed off. A zombie started coming down before I even got 1 sun. I was so pissed off. And then I tried it 3 more times, and I about had a breakdown from frustration. Lol
