The gentleman seems to be afraid to get close to her. Cuban casino is all about that--about being friendly and trusting. Also, this dancer needs to explore the concept of dancing "en un ladrillo". Think "compact", with the rythm emanating from your center, heart, waist, hips all traveling together to the feet.

Lastly, the little kicks ruin your style a bit.I have watched Cuban dancing all my life and by the way, I'm not a real good dancer. jajajajaj but I know why.

@timbero1 What rot. I'm sorry, there is no one way to do Guapea, there are a hundred variations based around the basic shape. He may well be exaggerating his style for demonstration purposes, but this is not 'Miami' Casino, geez.

This must be Miami casino, because doesn´t look Cuban. You have to fix your basic steps in guapea. You have to step forward, not a small karate kick in the air.
