Total Control

It is not as IF big corporate money and lobbyists have done everything at their disposal to influence elections in this country this much should be obvious to everybody by now. Now they want TOTAL CONTROL, no holds barred, period.
This is the biggest and most serious crisis this nation, since its founding, has arguably ever faced, and may prove to be its ultimate unraveling.

It spells the death of any resemblance of representative democracy in this country, as well as the death of the republic, the two not being mutually exclusive. If the Supreme Court accepts these arguments and rules in favor of Citizens United a misnomer, if there ever was one! - ordinary people in this country will lose their power (or whats left of it, at this point), for the next 2 or 3 generations to come, and may not regain it, ever.

It would represent a complete and total take-over in favor of who has the MOST money to shape every major policy decision from here on out. This, of course, is already well underway, but a decision in favor of this, would cement this in place for a very long time, and it may become irreversible certainly, within our own lifetimes.

Elections will simply become a tool for the global financial elite to keep the masses amused and pissed off at each other, while cementing their hold on power. And for those still naïve enough to believe in these games, it will be an exercise in futility, or a continued illusion to keep everybody docile and content with the few remaining scraps from the top down, which will certainly diminish over time, until people believe its normal to go hungry for a few days, or without adequate shelter, because everybody is living that way too. This is the ultimate race to the bottom: people will accept it as NORMAL, while the financial elites own their private islands, gated compounds and such. TV and internet will most certainly continue to keep the masses content and brainwashed. In the olden days, they had coliseums with gladiators to keep the masses entertainedand this is no different

Im sorry to be so pessimistic. or perhaps realistic. Life is not a fairy tale, although we all would like to believe in one.

The big mis-understanding is that BIG government is bad, but the BIG government is essentially controlled by BIG corporate money at this stage, so there really is NO big government anymore, because the corporations ARE the government. Not really. Many of us have been laser beam aimed at Corporations for a long time. The idea of smaller Government is great, so long as it isn't replaced by a rampant corporate infiltration into every aspect of our lives......uh oh.....that's happened already, hasn't it?
