  • nice collection, takes me back to the good old days, at one time i programed in RS-Dos on the coco 3 loved the coco's do you remember "Rainbow Magazine" ?

got most of my programs from there. but my first computer was a Timex/Sinclair 1000 with 4kb of ram. paid $99 in 1982. wow, what will we see in 20 years. some day someone will say "remember the intel i7?"

  • @billspcclinic i havent heard of rainbow magazine be for but um more of like the Compute and like the Gazette for commodore

  • i never was able to learn color basic on the coco probably because i was useto the apple II basic

  • yeah

I am trying to learn Vic-20 and TI/994a basic

and I am still trying to get the hang of TRS-80 Model 3 and TRS-80 Pocket Computer 1

though I did write a simple program for finding of wavelengths of frequencys of the Pocket computer

  • i just got a ti/99 and im happy to say that the basic on it is very easy. And as for the vic 20 its even easier

  • Yeah I was raised on a heavey dose of trs-80 basic

which is just microsoft basic edited a little bit and tandy slapped their name on it

  • Impressive collection - I didn't know there was a Commodore16; I've worked on a Vic20 and Commodore64. I used to go into radio shacks and program the color II to something like:

    10 print "Radio Shack: You have questions, we have blank stares ";

    20 goto 10

    run

and then leave. Ah, my days of misspent youth.

I loved the TI 99/4A because it had 3 "voices" or channels and you could program some complex music with them.

    Thank you for posting.

  • same here but im sneaking them lol

  • They must have dumped a load of C16s on the Australian market. I can remember buying one at the 1987 Brisbane Computer show for $50 with the black data cassette, joy stick, all in this neat commodore silver bag!

  • you did see a Commodore 16

though Is not damage the system does not work

I think somebody put in the wrong polarity for power because when I opened it up there was a blown fuse so that is what I am guessing
