Ah, i have a basset and a mini dachshund, but the mini dachshund is about 9 years older than my basset. They dont get along too well. lol

Your basset is so lovely & look like mine,+ barking the same way. When he focuses on what he wants he will never give up. Basset hound has a very good memory. My basset likes chasing the mail man. sometimes the mail man left for an hour, still he would hurry tracking the mail man using the sense of his nose. Basset is the best.
