This is truly the best.. one of the best asian song ever...

海闊天空 "Hai kuo Tian Kong" (Boundless Oceans Vast Skies) is Beyond's best known works ever.

It will always be my favorite...

Well, I'm surely that Wong Koon-Chung is the lead Guitarist, considering Wong Ka-Kui is the Lead Vocals & Rhytm Guitar..

I did this by my ears, so no tabs here (really sorry)..

I managed to add a small screen to view my fretboard closely, but I recorded it afterwards, so maybe you'll find a wrong tempo..

  • Great job, bro! You're awesome. I want to perform this solo, but I don't find tabs :(

  • @franpikko

    Thank's for watchin' this... :-)

I wasn't using any tabs too... but a few weeks after I posted this video, I found out there'a a tutorial video. So, perhaps you can try it by watchin' that tutorial, the video is in Chinese language, but I'm sure when it comes to the guitar, you will understand it..

simply follow this link : YOUTUBE.COM / watch?v=dqhvZl1CWT0 (the account name is "WingYip")

So, I hope you can learn from that link, and don't forget to inform me if you finish the solo.

About Noise Supressor.. yeah!! I think I need that (To be precisely, that's one of my next target), since I put a lot of Gain in my Distortion, and still If I manage to buy another OD pedal, I think I'll use another pedal that unfortunately will boost any noise, somethin like : Grapic Equalizer, (And of course, my own Amp's Gain Level) :-)

    @Chitarrometro

    Thx :-)

Previously in my old amps. I used that kind of scheme. using distortion & overdrive, but, in the next, after i bought a new amp (Marshall MG), I would like to put 2 kind of overdrive.(without any distortion pedal). I think an overdrive pedal will do it, especially if we put more Gain

somethin like : Vintage Tube Overdrive(Boosting my amp's OD, for classic blues riff) > Tube Overdrive(Lead & Solo Part, any modern OD feels) > Preamp Booster (Boosting TO100)

  • I really love this cover(and the song also),...Love your tone!(What will "Behringer Haters" say now? AHAH XD)

So in your stompbox do you use two different kinds of distortion?(Tube Overdrive and Warp Distortion)...It sounds very nice!

I only think you need a noise suppressor,It's very useful and i

..You can notice it while you're playing.

Anyway,if you want take a look on my new original song for the "original song competiotion" and leave a comment.

Thank you and always keep rockin'!
