Letting The Herd Out To Pasture

The ground here has been saturated for weeks and weeks and the herd has had to be inside for a few days. The ground finally froze so they're going out. The battery in my camera died half way through letting them out...dammit! We expected them to run around a bit but they pretty much got right to eating their new pasture grass...heads down munching and happy.

This video basically shows 1 of the herd's bloodlines. Fate (the blind mare) is the mother of Gertrude (the first horse out), and Sheri (the last horse shown going out), while Harriet is the daughter of Sheri. Fate's spawn (Sheri, Gertrude, and Harriet) all have great confirmation and great potential as race horses.
