This was at some festival type thing called "Hippiefest" in Virginia at Wolf Trap on July 30, 2007. At the end you can hear some guy telling me to turn off my camera.
'I Love You' was written by Chris White of the Zombies. Rod Argent also of The Zombies is a brilliant keyboardist, vocalist, composer. That's hime singing I Love You.
Argent later played keyboards with many other musicians, including playing piano on the title track of The Who's album Who Are You, and on Variations with Gary Moore, Julian Lloyd Webber and Andrew Lloyd Webber. In 1986 he composed the ITV theme music for their coverage of the 1986 World Cup - "Aztec Gold".
Thanks for posting- I have always loved this song even though I had only heard the version from "The People". I was thrilled when I first heard the Zombies do it. The audience talks too much.
