This picture is of St Therese of Lisieux "the Little Flower", 1873-1897, who lived well after the death of Haydn (1809), so the Mass is most probably dedicated to the 18th century Habsburg Empress Maria Theresa or possibly to the 16th century Spanish mystic and Doctor of the Catholic Church, St. Teresa de Avila. Excellent recording, by the way, and thanks.
Great mass and I have sung it. It sounds better when it is sung just a bit slower than they are doing it here.
