WOW, great shelter. That thing is huge, all the comforts of home away from home. Do you have running water and electricity in there yet? XD

Great job on that shelter. I also watch Dave's videos and am going to try and build one of these.

@Ggreenvideos Thanks man! My little guy wanted a place to hang out one day ...we where watching Dave make a spider shelter and I told my grandfather and I used to make them so of course had to make one ....Its bigger than the norm but so far its survived the winter and a tropical storm with not a whole lot of fixing up .

Nice job. I like the outside supporting long branches on your shelter. Dave did not use the outside branches on his shelter. I think yours looks better.

Hey thanks allot ! I used the outside suporting branches for 2 reasons ..1st its much more vertical than Daves Spider so this holds the leafs very well ..Second reason it gives it a lot stronger support especially with all the snow we get ....So it all depends on what kind a shelter you want build . ;-) I am going to try to get there this weekend and shoot a vid . ;-)

wow, that sweet baby is massive! you guys will have a blast hanging out there, working on projects. I have a picture in my mind of that hut with a nice warm potbelly stove in there to keep you warm. All of these great posts to Dave really make me want to get a video camera so I can get out with my kids and do this cool stuff. Great job!
