Dr. Jake Kerlin & Arden Smith find a way to recover memories from dead people. They use the memories to help prove capital punishment to be in actuate and wrong. FBI agent Al Franklin steps into investigate.

I once watched a movie in which somebody played the last image imprinted on a corpse's retina. I don't remember much more about it, so I assume it wasn't too good. About Optical... it's great, but there's a question the plot doesn't answer. Why was the FBI agent interested in killing that girl? Maybe you should make something bigger with this basic idea.

Actually I have a full 150 page script to this, I had to take a short sceen and condence it into about 5mins for school.

I thought I commented on this a while back when I first saw this -- I must be getting old. Anyway...

I really liked this. It was well shot and directed, had good production value (something I envy in everyone else's short films) and a cool premise. I also dug the opening shot and how that paid off. The music also added to the atmosphere. Best of all, it leaves you wanting more. Well done!

Nice work. I enjoyed the mystery/sci-fi thing you did with it. I kind of predicted some of it while watching, but the concept was still really cool. Good production values and well executed.
