The dark arame in contrast with the vibrant orange carrots and bell peppers creates a beautiful dish. The spicy content can be adjusted to taste, but a little heat makes this dish even more unique. The lemon juice offers a bright zing of flavor and whether you enjoy this dish hot or cold it is a great snack or side dish for any meal.

The "chives" featured on this recipe are actually green onions, also known as scallions. In fact, the way the "chives" are prepared in this video is not how real chives are used. Chives are grown for the leaves and utilized as an herb. Scallions however are grown for the bulb and the leaves.
Chives and scallions are not interchangeable.
