A short clip about a car getting hit by a missile. This is my first test video using Videocopilot Action Essentials 2. compositing work was done in After Effects. original 3d model from artist-3d.com.

Definitely one of the bests. Additionally, car's take off physics is very very good. I understand the modelling in 3d tools and renderring as image sequences but how did you handle the physics of the motion? Did the 3D-Max do it for you? Or you mess with it manually?

@yassag The animation of the car was done completely with 3d max's reactor physics engine.

Lol the guy just walks and doesn't notice a violent explosion on the background

Really great job. The only thing that kills the illusion for me is that the blast of light from the explosion doesn't interact with the car.
