You're looking at my "Flyke" in action - it's a flying bike that can be pedalled (or propeller powered) on the ground, and flown in the air. I flew this from Land's End to John O'Groats in the summer of 2009 (www.flybike.co.uik), landing in random fields every couple of hours, cycling to petrol stations to refuel and then taking off again from nearby fields. Did this about 30 times altogether in the trip, and raised £17000 for charity all in - thank you! Next year I'm thinking of attempting to cross the channel, again in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Watch this space for more details....
its a flying moped is what it is :)
i own a moped and it is defined as neither a bike or motorcycle but it has pedals too.
BUT IT CANT FLY especially whan it's top speed is only 25 lol

@lastoneeating
My dad and I are making a bicycle that flies. Only it will be self propelled by pedals - no gas or any fuel - other than feet. :)
It will have a chain system going through the fuselage to a gear set, propelling the propeller.
