digoxin sucks man, why wouldnt u talk about drugs like CCB's, beta blockers, or diuretics like furosemide, or even hydrochlorothiazide, these are the main drugs used in treatments for congestive heart failure, they lower the fluid volume. atenolol, bisoprolol, and metroprolol being the preferable choice over respiratory depression type drugs like propranolol. ccb's like diltiazem and verapamil are very good for chest pain related to CHF.
