Why? They believe in the power of nature and communities thinking that Frogs bring rain are numerous (it is close to be an archetype). Let then leave room for respect and appreciation to those who still believe in unseen relation between earth, its inhabitant, the whatever and whatever else.

Watching recently (again) the famous (infamous) "Last temptation of Christ" , I remembered people told me that they found faith back when they saw it because the character was much closer to them, someone they could relate to, a normal human being struggling with feelings and passion ... rather than the mystical figure depicted @ church. As perhaps SkyDaddy7, I do not see a problem if Jesus was a simple human - for any person to go through his ordeal would be a very relevant tecahing.

Indeed we must appreciate those intelligent people. However, at the same time we cannot ingnore written history which tell us about these beautiful people, as most of our achievements are tied to history.

Maybe Jesus was the son of Joseph, a normal human being as you or I, a Beautiful teacher, a wonderful philosopher...To me this gives more meaning to his words than magic or myth does. That is what I feel.
Mohammed was a beautiful person, teacher, philosopher and there was no need to say he was the product of some miracle birth to make his words more important.
We should appreciate all our beautiful minds throughout history not pit one against the other in some religious war!
