The Strokes began working on their fourth album on Feb. 11, 2009. To celebrate the band's return, Ripcordnews.com will post a rare song from The Strokes each weekday until their fourth album is released.

This particular version of "You Only Live Once" was recorded during The Strokes' Zane Lowe Sessions. It features different lyrics from Julian Casablancas, and dates back to before the release of First Impressions of Earth. Personally, I like these lyrics more than the FIOE's version.

YouTube took down this video before, so we'll see if they do it again. Let's hope not because this is a great version
