an artificial human brain is scheduled for 2029. just calculate how old you will be in that year then you will see how far in the future it is and it will be easier for you to believe kurzweil.

Accelerating exponentially from 0.00000003 is a slow growth but once the threshold of the decimal is crossed, exponential growth can become quite brutal and rather quickly. Wait 30 years and get back to us on these. Ray Kurzweil is right! And I still await your response.

It's true, the start of the 21st century marked the beginning of extraordinary advances. We are still at the early stages of many things. I also believe that there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. Things that would make a huge impact on humanity. Maybe we're just not ready yet. Over time, we'll begin to see more and more. It won't be one huge explosion, and then bam, we're living underwater. We're depleting the earth. We'll find ways over time to continue living.
