  • I don't know why this is titled "1948." These clips are from the mid 50's at the earliest. I don't think there were filmed commercials in '48. They were, I believe, all done live at that time. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  • How cool - commercials that don't try to fucking vulturize you into buying a product based on how much the advertisier can confuse you and fuck up your emotions to the point you are really just buying an image that has nothing to do with the actual product. Thanks for posting these!

  • As these are all American adverts they could be from 1948 as commercial TV was already on there.

  • the poster was born in "48 perhaps...just a guess

  • I love how long it took for the remington shaver ad to end...XD

  • Nice effort, but none of these were from 1948. There were some classic RADIO commercials from this era, but very few on television.

  • That 'pepsodent' ad 6:10 sounds like an early hip hop acapella LOL

  • That Dodge commercial is rather sad. All those employed people doing the jobs robots do now. That's what happened to our economy. Reminds me of the lyrics to "Don't Give Up" by Peter Gabriel.

I did enjoy looking at all the past fashions and hairstyles.

  • omfg...that bandage commercial is aweosmly trippy...man if i could of lived in the 50s...

  • 1948年にこんなに進んでたんじゃ、そら勝てんわ...

  • @cryan475 The image is so clear because it's not really a 1948 commercial.

  • @Wordman67 I think you're right. And the quality of the image is much too good for 1948 TV. I

If you want to see real 1948 TV, watch one of he early Toscanini concerts, like the Beethoven's Ninth one.
