Paul Vallas in New Orleans: Episode 8

What would you do if at least 20% of your high school students missed school regularly? What if approximately a third of all your students didn't show up for the first week of school?

That's the situation Paul Vallas faced when he took over the schools in New Orleans in the summer of 2007. And he's adopted about a dozen strategies in order to tackle the problem.
