Why does this game exist?: Isle of Dead (DOS, 1993)

You come across a lot of excellent games when you have those bored, sleepless nights that you spend scrounging around all the abandonware sites for something to play that you may have unfortunately missed out on during your teen years of the bygone DOS era.

You also come across titles like this which, to put politely, very much deserved their obscurity.
