I have heard that it depends on the body, of course not in excess.

Maybe if the meat was taken care of properly. It is full of steroids and antibiotics. And the conditions in which they live is atrocious. Have you ever seen the clip "Meet your meat"? Furthermore if we were supposed to be "carnivorous" we would be able to process the meat raw like other carnivores. Instead we have to cook the meat which takes away all of the nutritional value of the meat. Our teeth is made to eat fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts preferably raw.

lets not but false info out just to make a point the pic that you have up is from an old picture of food that people eat around the world in other countries Just like when you travel from the airport in England there is a sign on the wall with arrows pointing to a grasshopper and each like has a countries name and how the grasshopper is perceived ie US-pest UK-food,ect- if I can find the list from where the original picture comes from ill send it also they had a documentary on pbs on this
