Thank you for posting this video. I ride a Nighthawk 550 and I've used the center stand to change my oil before. However, I got on the bike, pushed down and rocked back until I got it up (I did the reverse to get it back down). I also had someone helping me, pulling back on the grab bar. However, this looks like a much easier and safer way of going about this and best of all, it can be done by one person. 5 stars!

Thanks for the comment! The center stand is so useful (and easy to use, once you know how!) I wonder about some of the newer bikes with the 'underslung' exhaust (e.g. Kawasaki Ninja 650, ER6n and Versys)...there doesn't seem to be any way to mount a center stand on those...a real shortcoming IMO.
