This hit by Lonnie Donegan, along with Gamblin' Man, was the 28th #1 song of the Rock Era in the United Kingdom.

Thanks for uploading this! Great to put a face to the music!
I've just been playing a 78rpm record of this Superb track.
The record was recorded live at 'The London Palladium' on the 9th of May 1957...Still sounds amazingly good for a 78rpm that's well over 50 years old! :)

Lonnie Donegan was a bigger influence on british rock musicians of the 1960 s than Elvis Presley. the get up and have a go mentality ,like Punk later on.
