The Bureau of Land Management in Oregon and Washington is committed to protecting and preserving our nations resources, including healthy aquatic habitats. In the past, access-roads and culverts were constructed without regard for specific needs of migrating fish. The BLM- in coordination with the Northwest Fish Plan, PACFISH, and InFish- has launched an ongoing effort to replace and construct culverts and bridges that enable clear fish passage and more closely imitate the nature of a river or stream bed. Find out more about BLM and what the agency is doing to protect what's important to you and your community at http://www.blm.gov .
