On March 16, 2012, fourth-year medical students around the U.S. learned where they would start their medical careers after they graduate. Students make a list of the hospitals they want to work at; hospitals make a list of the students they want to employ. A high-powered computer takes all the lists and matches the new graduating doctors with hospitals. In Spokane, University of Washington medical students gathered at the Riverpoint Campus to open their match letters and learn where they would spend the next phase of their careers.
