A possible Guantanamo on UK soil - 01 Feb 08

British ministers have blocked the release of secret military papers about an Indian Ocean island where the US may be holding prisoners without charge. Diego Garcia is British territory but home to a US military base believed to house so called 'rendition prisoners'. Al Jazeera's Mark Seddon reports.

This was just a rumor. I am in the US Navy who got there after this time. Knew guys from this time in question. It never happpened. There's no prison there or place to put them! All people I talked to said they did temporaily hold a few for a few hours before they were bounced to the real prisons in Guitmo. Where do they get this stuff?
