HOUSTON—Many citizens were concerned Saturday after seeing a large plane circling the city, but officials said there was no reason to be.
Officials at Ellington Field and Bush Intercontinental Airport confirmed it was a NASA test plane. Texas City Emergency Management said the plane, which was flying at 50,000 feet, is used to do earth surveys, test maneuvers and take air samplings. They said the tests run frequently.

A large NASA test plane circling the city caused concern among the citizens of Houston on Saturday afternoon, September 11. i was on my way to work when i saw this....i was on 1960 where the airport is.....we (my friends and her dad) saw 3 orbs following this plane....
