I'll never forget this song. I'm 17 and the one I've loved for a long time, who doesn't know I love him, if going to be leaving for the army in the up coming year sometime.. It tears me up.. We wrote letters through all of basic and when he came back, I remember being soo happy to see him.. And now all he talks about is how much he can't wait to go over and fight.. And I don't mean to be selfish.. But I don't want him to go.. I'll miss him too much.. Please stay safe Joey. I love you. <3

@GabbieIsGangsterr trust me i know the felling..my boyfriend have been together for almost a year and it kills me every time i talk to him on the phone. About six months ago he lost half his leg in battle in afganistan and even tho he is in texas getting help hes still gone and i never really got to talk to him over there.. push through it and your love for him will grow stronger and show that you dont support him going for america but because you love him itll mean alot!

@GabbieIsGangsterr i know how you feel, the one i love....actually my love and three of my friends are all going into separate branches of the military once we graduate.....i'll be all alone and left wondering if any of them are going to come back.... and by the time they all leave though i can grantee that we'll be in the outbreak of another war <:( i just want them all to be safe..

this song brings back all the memories of the friends i lsot overseas espically my friend rob. the last time i saw rob we got into a fight and i told him he was an asshole and i wanted him to die overseas he was my best friend i knew him since we were both 5 years old and now everyday i vist his grave and see his babygirl and its painful to see her without him shes now 4 years old and it just breaks my heart

my best friend is leaving in january for the marines, this breaks me down everytime<3 even though i have a boyfriend, i will always have a crush on my bestfriend ive known him since 8th grade and were now both in college, hes the one guy who was always there, he knows this, and he's like my own dear john story, i told him no matter what im gonna be there everytime he comes back from leave, and im gonna write to him. even though i have a boyfriend he still has a place in my heart.
