Tuli, at home in his Manhattan loft, interviews his favorite journalist Alexander Cockburn for Revolting News in 1998. Alex was writing for New York Press at that time, a newpaper that used to be know for the high quality of its writers. Alex now has his own publication Counterpunch, the leading lefty on-line magazine which Tuli still favors: www.counterpunch.org

  • this is great...but I have to laugh at the backdrop (looks like the inside of a 250 sq.ft squalid pad in NYC...sounds like NYC too)....it is pretty hokey...thankfully the substance of the piece overshadows the visual layout.

  • @spiritedemma Thanks for appreciating. Actually it's not a "squalid pad" but a million dollar loft which Tuli furnished mostly with books, books, and more books, not being the Better Homes and Gardens type. Alex Cockburn too, seemed to fit with the interior decor.

  • Often wondered about Tuli and what he's been up to and how he's survived since the Fugs days. What a ballsy guy!
