'Ra' is the sun at high noon, or mid summer...'Osiris' is the sun directly below us at midnite, or also dead of winter, when its in 'hell'.

BTW the sun is 'HORUS' when its coming up above the HOR-izon, also in springtime and the sun is 'Set' when it dips below, or fall time.
