Terri Greeno, Owner of Express Employment Professionals, presented a seminar on "Temporary Employment" at St. Margaret Mary Church. Her presentation focused on why full time traditional jobs are not the only options when unemployed in a down job market like we are currently in. She discussed how temporary employment provides income as well as networking opportunities that could lead to a full time traditional job. Tips for turning a temporary job into a full time position were also presented.
Terri Greeno's presentation was followed by a half hour networking session for job seekers and those looking for other opportunities. This open sessions provides a forum for discussing resumes, places to search for jobs, and resources available.
The sessions are held every second Tuesday of the month, are free to attend, and are open to the public. The next session will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 7:30pm. For info or other assistance, please call 847-854-8379 or email JobHelpSMM@YahooGroups.com.
