  • My workplace has an Otis elevator with a very similar interior. I think it's from the '80s and I think it's hydraulic.

  • one good thing= NO BUZZ!

  • Once either Schindler or Thyssenkrupp puts thier hands onto a beautiful Otis, they do nothing but ruin a beautiful elevator. The doors look like if they were really built for gated elevators.

  • Geared traction.

  • Yeah I got fooled at first thinking those were 3 speed doors as well, but they aren't. Easier to tell that they are just two speed when you are inside the elevator.

  • With that wall, it looked like a 3 speed door.
