My 60's/70's UP manifest train on track 2 nov 5th, 2009

my 1960's/1970's UP manifest on track 2 at the pikemasters. all the train is mine. the only out of place item is the caboose which is a fictional thing athearn did (UP acquired cabooses like it from the MP, but never put them in UP colors), phil said he would let me borrow one of his brass overland caboose's for the show.

no the SD7 is NOT running backwards, Up's GP7's and SD7's where setup long hood forward.

aka, the typical Freight train. :) lemme guess, track 3 and 4 are still down?

nope. we fixed a few switches, and rewired some things and t 3 and 4 are operational. however, the packs that control them are being replaced with new ones.

Railfan, the UP typically ran their SD units and most of their later GP engines with the shorter hood as the front. However the SD7's and GP7's were oriented so the long hood was the front.
